Fable Flow / Creative Writing App

Fable Flow is an ideation tool for writers, game masters, artists, and designers, built on the belief that the best ideas come from the person using them, not from a machine.

We designed and built the whole experience: a Flipboard-style page-fold animation that makes drawing a card feel physical, and a card system with careful spacing, typography, and hierarchy that keeps attention on the image and the words. A consistent visual framework lets illustrations from many different indie TTRPGs sit together without clashing.

Around the card mechanic we developed the Flow, a four-step process that takes the user from a random image to an idea only they could have had. The interface stays quiet throughout, holding the structure without getting in the way of the thinking.
